This feature is non-standard and is not on a standards track. Do not use it on production sites facing the Web: it will not work for every user. There may also be large incompatibilities between implementations and the behavior may change in the future.
Obsolete
This feature is obsolete. Although it may still work in some browsers, its use is discouraged since it could be removed at any time. Try to avoid using it.
The Navigator.mozIsLocallyAvailable() method allows add-ons to determine whether or not a given resource is available.
Syntax
navigator.mozIsLocallyAvailable(uri, ifOffline);
Parameters
uri- The URI of the resource whose availability is to be checked, as a string.
ifOffline-
Allows you to specify whether or not the offline resources cache should be checked; specify
trueto consider the offline resources cache.
