SpeechRecognition.onsoundend

The onsoundend property of the SpeechRecognition interface represents an event handler that will run when any sound — recognisable speech or not — has stopped being detected (when the soundend event fires.)

Syntax

mySpeechRecognition.onsoundend = function() { ... };

recognition.onsoundend = function() {
  console.log('Sound has stopped being received');
}

To use speech recognition in an app, you need to specify the following permissions in your manifest:

You also need a privileged app, so you need to include this as well:

  "type": "privileged"
